Poetry: Symphony of Green

By Cucuk Espe

In nature's realm, where beauty thrives,

Humans tread with reckless strides.

Ecosystems fragile, pristine and rare,

Fall to man's greed, stripped bare.

Forests lush, a symphony of green,

Now silenced, only echoes remain.

Rivers once pure, now tainted by care,

As concrete jungles rise, nature despairs.

Species vanish, their songs fade,

Human progress comes at a grave trade.

Earth's intricate web, disrupted and torn,

For progress and profit, all else is scorned.

Yet hope lingers, a whispering breeze,

A chance to mend, to plant new trees.

Let's halt the ruin, protect and restore,

For harmony with nature, we must explore.
